This group is meant to bring together writers, artists, musicians and others to discuss and support the creative process.
This group is for published/unpublished individuals who aspire to write, are in the process of writing, or have already written at least one poem, short story, novel, memoir, non-fiction, or children's book. Group members meet every-other Tuesday evening, to bounce ideas, listen to other members read chapters/synopsis/proposals from their works, provide feedback, and exchange leads for literary/publishing representation.
For people of all ages who are interested in honing their writing skills, meeting with fellow creative writers and bouncing ideas off of each other. Meetups will include a chat with a published author, and a question and answer session.
PINAWOR has been helping writers succeed since 1987. Between 20 and 30 members meet at the Largo Recreation Center in Largo, FL each Saturday from 9:30 to noon. Members read 5 minutes of their work which is then critiqued by the group. A series of four to five classes is offered twice each year, and every other month guest speakers address the group about topics related to writing. More information can be found at www.pinawor.org.
